The following is intended to provide a brief overview of this recent energy project of Triton and its principals.

Objective:

• Develop a business and financing plan for an acquisition and development of a gasification facility as well as commercialize a new gasification technology

Transaction Challenges:

• Transaction required a combination of financial, fundamental analysis, strategic advice, project and business development and management expertise

Solution:

• Triton worked with internal management and external consulting human resources to analyze and identify several feedstock and final product options and recommend an optimal physical and financial solution
  
  
• Triton worked with other consultants to determine financing options, including structures and funding from the Department of Energy, the State of Texas, sovereign wealth funds, government export/import banks and project finance banks
  
  
• Triton led and negotiated project options, including permits, and business development options, including off-take agreements, feedstock and handling agreements as well as environmental and insurance analyses
